| Climbing Mt Franklin, the most prominent peak East of Arthur's pass. Stayed at Goat Pass Hut, then a 15 hour day climbing the SW ridge, S ridge, descending by Good Luck Creek and out. The SW ridge is nice climbing, but the S ridge is pretty chossy this time of year, and the loose, rocky scree down to the Top Deception hut was a little bit too mobile...
